Basic Auto Care

Gain the skills needed to provide basic maintenance on your vehicle. Save time and money by keeping your car in top condition. Delve deeper into the topics covered in Basic Auto Care. Classes are taught in the automotive lab on campus in Glen Ellyn using college vehicles. Taking Basic Auto Care prior to this course is required, or students must have prior automotive knowledge. Classes will include lectures and hands-on activities using school cars from the automotive lab at the Glen Ellyn campus. For students ages 16 and older.

Learn how to make hexies! These cute little English paper piecing hexagons were commonly used in a quilt pattern popular in the 1930s called Grandmother’s Flower Garden. Decluttering can be a challenge. Many of us have too many items in our spaces, but struggle with the process of reviewing and removing the items that no longer serve us. Sorting through the amount of decluttering advice out there can be just as overwhelming. Complete beginners, as well as advanced players, will have fun learning tricks and techniques for playing blues harmonica! Learn simple songs, proper breathing and basic blow/draw patterns.
