Shady Oakes Camp - Homer Glen, IL

Shady Oaks Camp is looking for two kitchen staff to work at their Homer Glen summer camp.
The person needs to be 18 or older, willing to clean, do food prep, some heavy lifting of boxes/food products, wash dishes and follow the instructions of the head chef! If the person lives near camp they are allowed to come and go- as long as they are on time. We also have accommodations if someone wants to stay on camp grounds.
Pay is $3,500 for the summer. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. with an afternoon break. Camp starts on June 9 and goes until Aug. 10. This is an ALL DAY, EVERY DAY job. You will have every other weekend off.

Located in Poland, Maine, Camp Fernwood is a residential summer camp for girls with a long-standing tradition of excellence. Our kitchen team plays a vital role in ensuring our campers and staff enjoy nutritious, delicious meals every day.
Responsibilities include food preparation, meal service, maintaining kitchen safety and cleanliness standards, and supporting the Head Chef and kitchen staff.
